MANILA, Philippines - As the Supreme Court deliberates on the merits of the Vizconde case and the urgent motion to acquit filed by convicted murderer and rapist Hubert Webb, "star witness" Jessica Alfaro has allegedly sent a text message to Lauro Vizconde, patriarch of the massacred family.

In Alfaro's purported text from abroad, she reminded the public about the evidence against Webb.

"Malakas ang ebidensya laban kay Hubert dahil eyewitness ako," Alfaro said.

She also said there were other witnesses who testified against Webb.

"Nagtestigo din si Mila Gaviola ang maid nila Webb na nilabhan niya ang duguan na T-shirt ni Hubert nung umaga pagkatapos ng massacre. May dalawa pang security guard ng subdivision na nagtestigo na si Hubert ay nakita nila ng gabi ng massacre papasok sa entrance gate ng subdivision ng bahay ni Lauro Vizconde," Alfaro said.

Alfaro also sought to discredit Webb's alibi. "Yung alibi nila ay gawagawa lang. Nakita nga ni Gary V [Valenciano] si Hubert sa America pero Nobyembre na yun at limang buwan na matapos ang pagpatay at nagtatago na sya sa America."

Vizconde said he and Alfaro have been in constant communication through the years. Alfaro would call or send text messages to get updates about the case, Vizconde told ABS-CBN News.

On Thursday, a lawyer of Webb filed a petition at the Supreme Court to cite National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) officers in contempt.

Webb counsel Zenaida Ongkiko-Acorda told reporters the petition for indirect contempt was filed to establish there is a "deliberate scheme by the NBI to inculpate."

Acorda told ABS-CBN News that "Jessica Alfaro...is a bogus eye witness... She was coached into executing her affidavit. It was the NBI who coached her into identifying Hubert Webb."

The NBI's failure to present the sperm specimen that "could have proven Webb's innocence" was also cited as grounds by Webb's lawyer.

Named as respondents in the indirect contempt case are:

NBI Director Magtanggol Gatdula;
Former NBI Director Carlos Caabay;
Former NBI Director Nestor Mantaring;
Dr. Renato Bautista;
Dr. Prospero Cabanayan;
Atty. Floresto Arizala Jr.;
Atty. Reynaldo Esmeralda;
Atty. Arturo Figueras;
Atty. Pedro Rivera;
John Herra.

Gatdula denied to comment on the case.
