Can't able to have a picture taking with her. But, she greeted me four times during commercial break. Well, it's OK. At least she introduced me on the Facebook greeting portion as the winner of the Best Bagong Gising Picture. I hope I will come back there and watch her again live. She's really beautiful inside out. Thanks Umagang Kay Ganda for that wonderful experience.

195: Pinky Webb: Edu and I will always be friends

MANILA, Philippines - "Umagang Kay Ganda (UKG)" host Pinky Webb on Friday cleared the issue about her relationship with actor-TV host Edu Manzano.

In an interview during a press conference for UKG's newest hosts -- Andrei Felix, Phoemela Baranda, Iya Villania and 2010 Miss Universe 4th runner-up Venus Raj, Webb said that she and Manzano are just good friends even after reports came out that they are set to get married.

"Basta kami, magkaibigan pa rin kami. I don't think that will ever change," said Webb.

Webb and Manzano, who were sweethearts for 5 years, were set to get married in October 2009. Manzano, however, decided to run for the vice presidency, and this led to the couple's break-up.

The news anchor who refused to react to Manzano's announcement that they are back in each other's arms again just stressed that the former Optical Media Board chairman will always be an important part of her life.

"Ha? Umm... Basta Edu is and will always be important and a part of my life," Webb said.

I also voted for Umagang Kay Ganda because I think UKG has this "home-y" feeling. It wasn't as formal as it was candid. Also, the fact that it has all the package that I look for in a show just adds to the reason why I like it. 115: MORNING SHOW RATINGS (NOVEMBER 15-19): UNANG HIRIT, ONLY MORNING SHOW TO POST BIG GAINS

Their ratings may not be as big as it was three years ago but the GMA-7 morning Unang Hirit gained this week with an average of 2.6% from 2.46% a week prior. UH added around 2,000 viewers for the week.

Umagang Kay Ganda improved a bit from an average of 1.74% from 1.72% a week prior.

Sapul Singko had an average of 0.46% from 0.54% a week prior.

100: MNP Reports: MORNING SHOW RATINGS (NOVEMBER 8-12): UH STILL THE MOST WATCHED MORNING SHOW

Just like its evening counterpart 24 Oras, the GMA morning show Unang Hirit still ranked first in the ratings for the week of November 8-12 with an estimated number of around 27,000 viewers. This is despite the new Sapul Sa Singko who only ranked third with 0.54%. The ABS-CBN morning show Umagang Kay Ganda meantime has an average rating of 1.72% or around 18,000 viewers.
