167: Blog: Ang Pagbabalik ni Pinky Webb sa TV

Nangyari ang pinanabikan ng fans na muli siyang makita sa telebisyon. Bumalik si Pinky sa tv upang pansamantala humalili kay Korina Sanchez sa TV Patrol na sinamahan din niya si Kabayan Noli De Castro.

Marami ring fans na natuwa sa kanyang pagbabalik telebisyon. Dagsa rin ang mga comments sa kanyang Fanpage at twitter. Matagal din pinanabikan at hinintay ang kanyang pagbabalik mula nang makalaya ang kanyang kapatid na si Hubert Webb. At sinulit muna niya makapiling ang kanyang pamilya ngayong Pasko at Bagong Taon bagamat matagal na siya nakaleave.

Sana tuloy-tuloy na natin siya makikita sa tv. Babalik na rin kaya siya sa Umagang Kay Ganda.

She also active in twitter again and she replied my tweets =D

By the way, Congratulations again MS Pinky Webb for winning Best Female Morning Show Host for Umagang Kay Ganda on 1st MNP Awards.

you’ve got to give it to the Webbs, yes? I mean you may believe differently about Hubert etal getting that acquittal. you may want to read up regardless, because at the very least those in Bilibid Prisons need an open mind — your open mind. I believe that 15 years is enough, I even think that 10 is enough, even just one year, when there’s a slim slim possibility that anyone’s innocent, a teeny tiny chance that they aren’t guilty of the crime they’ve been accused of. to a certain extent, the shame, the lost years, the lost time, the sadness, the silence, is enough.

Early this morning, while I'm searching for my assignment inside the internet cafe, someone is tweeted my an hour ago. Ms. Pinky Webb (@iampinkywebb) tweeted me for encouragement to follow the official Twitter account. It's called Justice for Hubert Webb, made by one of her fans (Or maybe , her relatives). I just followed it earlier while tweeting her. She thanks me for showing the support and sympathy of her brother to achieve justice for her family.

116: Pinky Webb on her mother's live interview (Via Twitter)

Have you watched Mrs. Beth Webb's interview on 24 Oras and TV Patrol yesterday? It seems like she is very emotional on her son's case. Ms. Pinky Webb also show her hard feelings when she already heard the news on her brother, Hubert Webb, about the motion wherein Hubert shall be free against the criminal case of Visconde Massacre because he was in the United States when the case happened.

As I tweeted her last night, I know I have a feeling of deepest sympathy on her mom and her family as well. And I'm wishing to her that Hubert's freedom shall be granted for a long years. Then, I check my TweetDeck and she replied :

Well, Thank you for answering my tweet. I hope and praying that you and your family is still loyal to our Lord and He will answer your prayers. Thanks also Ms. Pinky for appreciating my message as well. That's why I'm writing this blog for you to stay stronger and think positive more and more.

23: Thoughts to ponder: of us waiting for time to tell ...

What I have learned from gossips and speculations about ms. Webb

1^st person: ... she’s you know.

2^nd person: ... is she?

3^rd person: ... omg! She is?

1^st person: ... yep she is, according to ... ; and I think she is.

4^th person to 3^rd person: what did 1^st person say?

3^rd person to 4^th person: she’s you know... *adds story for extra flavor*

4^th person to ∞ person: ay talaga? *speculates* + *investigates*

Personality/celebrity involve: *clueless*

Personalities, celebrities are living in microscopic world. Their life is devoured by people 24/7, their actions are being guarded by people and eventually use what they have seen, heard, and observed. What they have gathered can be used for good or bad purposes. Basically, anyone who makes a living in front of the camera can be the target of speculations, gossip, or whatever-you-may-call-it. :P

Our very own ms. Pinky Webb of course is not exempted to that. In fact, the past few weeks she and Edu [Manzano] was on entertainment page, saying that they got married in US. However, it was addressed by both them that they did not get married (check the 2010 news archive for reference :p). 

Few days after, there’s a story going around the forums (good grief this is what you get when you do your research!) which was surprising and shocking.

01: Exclusively, for the charming ms. Pinky Webb

And we are in business. 

Started September 20, 2010 if you haven't noticed Pinky Webb has invaded our television. This past few days ms. Webb has never failed to delivery the news while we have our breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Pinky Webb is the news anchor for Umagang Kay Ganda every morning, then anchors ANC's Dateline Philippines every lunch and currently she pinch hit for Karen Davila, temporarily taking her place for TV Patrol while we have our dinner. Surely, she had invaded our screen but you can't help but to ask for more.

To say, I am a Webb fan. I couldn't help but to admire how "kick-ass" she is. Who wouldn't forget how courageous she was when she did the Manila Peninsula Siege report staying inside the tear-gas filled hotel despite her asthma. Then there's the Subic-Rape case that gave glory to the Philippines for being nominated in the International Emmy Awards. Then lastly you'd read that she took the number one spot for Spot's "Top 10 Hottest TV Newswoman in the Philippines" saying that she "could render men tongue-tied". Additionally, Spot even described ms. Webb as:

"...[t]all and svelte mestiza projects the confident vibe of a consummate career woman. But, oh, we love her even more when she's letting her hair down. Does anyone remember Webb's coverage of the Feast of the Black Nazarene in 2007? With all due respect, she still looked pretty hot without makeup. Her beauty shone through the grime and sweat"

What I liked about ms. Webb is that if her work requires her to be tough, she'll be tough as a man. But then if the event calls for her to return back as straight-back anchor, she will never have a problem with that. But take note that Ms. Webb may have no problem turning herself into a straight-back anchor but  she does it differently. She is not just your ordinary all-business type of anchor but she also do it with a charm. You'll see her sitting on a chair delivering her news with her hair tightly knotted or have it down, wearing a simple corporate attire, but then she would not fail to give that that bedimpled smile from time to time. And yes, by doing that she just did not deliver the news but also won her viewers heart.

Also, if you watch XXX, Dateline Philippines, and Umagang Kay Ganda you'll notice that  ms. Webb can rock wearing simple jeans and a sweatshirt, a corporate attire, or a dress. She is the Angeline Jolie in the making -- albeit an anchor type of Angelina Jolie! lol.

As what I have mentioned: Pinky Webb may have the charm and she can rock any clothes she wear but do not forget that she's smart and witty! Tune in to her DZMM's Tambalang Failon at Webb and listen how she gives her opinion in every topic that they would have on-air. And even though Ted is her senior she has no problem leveling up with him. Now tell me who wouldn't like her? Let me say that even as a woman as I am, I couldn't help but admire her for who and what she is.
