339: Pinky babalik na lang sa pagri-reporter

Babalik na lang pala sa pagka-reporter si Pinky Webb. Ito pala ang rason kaya niya nilayasan si Ted Failon sa programa nilang Tambalang Webb at Failon sa DZMM.

Ayon sa kuwento ng mga insider ng ABS-CBN, nagpaalam daw si Pinky na bumalik na lang sa pagri-reporter dahil pagod na siyang gumising ng maaga.

Kasi pala, gumigising si Pinky ng 3:00 a.m. for six years now. So parang napagod na raw ito kaya nagsabi sa management kung puwedeng bumalik na lang siya sa pagiging reporter. Pero hindi naman daw nito iiwan ang pagho-host ng XXX.

Sa pag-alis ni Pinky magso-solo na raw si Ted sa ere. Hindi na raw ito bibigyan ng katambal dahil babalik na rin sa ere si Ms. Korina Sanchez sa kanyang sarili ring programa.

So mauuna raw si Kabayang Noli de Castro, susundan ni Ted at saka papasok si Ms. Korina ayon sa isang spy.

Pero ang say naman ng iba, baka rin naman daw gustong magkaroon ng normal na oras ni Pinky para sa kanyang BF na si Edu Manzano na isang cerfitied Kapatid na.

Nagpaalam na pala sa radio show nila ni Ted Failon si Pinky Webb kahapon. Ang sabi raw ni Pinky ayon sa mga nakarinig : “Ako ay magbabakasyon at pansamantala pong magpapaalam sa radyo. Sa lahat ng tumangkilik sa amin sa Tambalang Failon at Webb maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat,” sabi ni Webb na alam ng lahat na girlfriend ni Edu Manzano.

Si Pinky ang pumalit kay Ms. Korina Sanchez nang magbitiw ito sa programa nang tumakbo noong bise presidente ang kanyang asawang si Sec. Mar Roxas.

Mahigit isang taon din yata ang itinagal ni Pinky sa programa na ayon sa kanya ay marami siyang natutunan sa nasabing panahon.

Bakasyon daw muna siya at hindi lilipat sa ibang channel.

“Ikaw naman, puro ka joke. Hindi. Dito pa rin ako siyempre sa ABS,” sabi naman ni Pinky nang tanungin siya ni Ted na baka naman lumipat na rin siya“Ibang schedule na pagbalik ko. Pagbakasyon ko, pagbalik ko, mag-iiba na rin ang schedule ko. So abangan n’yo na lang ako. Hindi po ako mawawala dito sa ABS-CBN pero sa radyo, pansamantalang mawawala muna ako,” sagot niya.

Sa pagbabakasyon ni Pinky, nag-iisip ang mga malisyosa at malisyoso, baka naman daw magpapakasal na si Pinky kay Edu na matagal na niyang karelasyon.

Baka raw ang sinasabi niyang pagbabago ay ang pagbabago ng kanyang apelyido?

Hahaha. Maging literal. Hindi rin natin alam.

Never silang umamin pero maraming nagsasabi na sila naman talaga at si Pinky lang ang mailap umamin tungkol dito dahil nga nasa News and Current Affairs siya. In fact nabalita pa nga kasal na sila noon pa.

MANILA, Philippines - The country's number one AM station, DZMM, celebrated its 25th anniversary dubbed as "Silveradyo" at One Esplanade on Thursday night.

What made the event most special was when veteran journalist Ted Failon and anchor Pinky Webb gamely did a song number for everyone.

Failon and Webb's tandem on radio was christened "FaiWebb" by their fans.

Talk about a "budding romance" between them spiked interest in their DZMM program "Tambalang Failon at Webb."

Failon and Webb sang a medley of unforgettable songs like "Fallin,'" "This Guy is in Love with You," and "Don't Cha."

ABS-CBN chief executive officer Eugenio "Gabby" Lopez III was among those present at the affair.

Celebrities including the "Star Power 5" finalists, Bangs Garcia, Niña Dolino, Erik Santos and Jericho Rosales also performed that night.

The unbeatable duo -- Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja of the radio show "Dos Por Dos" -- serenaded the top 5 finalists of the 2011 Binibining Pilipinas beauty pageant.

Santos performed "Beautiful in My Eyes" for radio hosts Webb, Gretchen Fullido and Jasmine Romero.

Radio anchor Alex Santos, on the other hand, performed Billy Joel's hit "Just The Way You Are" with actress Toni Gonzaga.

200: ABS-CBN News anchors join Showtime as ‘hurados’

MANILA, Philippines – Respected ABS-CBN News anchors joined the roster of Showtime’s “special hurados” on Saturday.

Just in time for the talent search’s return to its original time slot, Karen Davila, Pinky Webb, Gus Abelgas and Ted Failon were invited to judge the performances of the show’s Saturday contestants.

Everyone anticipated the journalists’ “sampol” wherein they showed off their talents.

First to showcase her skills was Webb who danced to the tune of “Papaya Dance.” This was popularized by her former boyfriend, actor-host Edu Manzano.

Asked by “Showtime” mainstay Vhong Navarro who taught her the dance steps, Webb said in jest: “Si DJ Mod. Hi DJ Mod, siya ang [nagturo].”

After Webb, Davila surprised everyone as she sang Lady Gaga’s famous song "Bad Romance". She also showed her dancing talent which made the audience happy.

Moreover, Abelgas was not ashamed to show his other side as he danced, delighting viewers.

Far from his usual serious look, Failon, meanwhile, showed off his skill in mixing music, acting as a DJ.

But however, it was revoked by few reliable souce. Then recently it was confirmed that they will indeed be the guest judge. So don't forget to watch Showtime this Saturday, 10.15 AM

79: News: TV Patrol revamped

A merry-go-round is going on between ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol World, the early-evening newscast, and Bandila, the late-night newscast.

Oops! Correction, please. I’m sure that it’s not at all “merry” for some of those involved, so should we call it a “messy-go-round” instead? “Messy” in the sense that, even if they don’t like it, the “un-merry” ones will have to accept their fate --- unless, which is very unlikely at this point, they seek greener pastures somewhere else (there are two choices).

This has been a buzz. We've read this from different sites/broadsheet/tabloids and hear people talk about the great changes that will happen in ABSCBN news department as November nears. Some say the changes will occur as Ressa resigns and/or as Willing Willie takes place. Now that Ressa had left, Willing Willie had already started airing, and November is here, the speculation seem to be true or seems to be more or less true.

 If you guys are Edu would you be offended, jealous, or annoyed with Ted's jokes?
So why did I chose this topic to be discussed? Aside from the fact that I am running out of ideas after brainstorming for this blog, and my being impulsive, it's because this has been asked too many times by other fans. Having seen them discuss it, I realized why not ask everyone?

The answers that fans had given reflects their attitude towards the situation presented. All answers are opinion based. There are no facts in these answers.

note: hehe, some answers are cut-short kasi yung ibang sagot hindi na connected sa tanong, ahihihihi. tapos yung mga naka shortcut na spelling, ako na po ang nagcomplete ng spelling for formality. But no replies are edited to be sure.

Please do not take this seriously. We are not making fun of ms. Webb's life, this is just a discussion among the fans if they think mr. Manzano gets jealous, or if they were mr. Manzano would they be jealous. It is never my intention to make fun of my favorite person's life. Again, this is just an opinion given the situation.

I know most of you guys listens to their radio program; and most of us are witness of how candid they could be. What I like about them is that: they are not only serious in delivering their opinion, news, etc., but they also know how to laugh and have a good time.

Sometimes listening to AM station can be a bit depressing because it's mostly about crime and all of the bad things that has been happening in our country; but listening to them is a little more different. From time to time they would say something funny; or Ted would suddenly tease her (platonically speaking) and as a listener I couldn't help but laugh despite of the bad news. They both know how to carry the program that in the end I couldn't help but to wait for the next day to come and listen to them again.

13: And then there's the Race!

Two teams are on the lead!

Impressive count for our first poll fellow fans! Who would have thought that we are in close race? Yesterday while checking out the result of poll we got into an equal score of 27/27 for both Team Ted and Team Edu! (lol really putting up teams now eh?). Oh don't get me started because I am excited to see who the fans prefer as her working partner!

But for now as of 10:00 AM this morning Team Edu is in the lead! But Ted fans aren't stopping to reach that point. To say Pinky/Edu is just 8 points ahead, Pinky/Ted fans can surely reach that score or even surpass it. But will the Pinky/Edu team allow that? Well let's see until the poll closes.

This is just for fun. Recently, while listening to her radio program I couldn't help but grin and laugh every time Ted starts "sweet talking" to Pinky. Actually, besides their discussion it's one of the things that I couldn't help but to wait for. But honestly, sometimes, when Ted starts to act like as if he's courting her  (I don't know if I should address it as courting... but I'll just use the word instead) I ended up being confused. I don't know whether to take him seriously or not! But LOL, our leading-lady sure knows how to dodge his jokes! (which makes it funnier and cute!).

But this move from Ted was noticed by one of the fans and wondered if Edu [Manzano] (currently the boyfriend of ms. Webb) listens to the radio program; and if he does, they wondered how he feels towards Ted's "seemingly" tender feelings for Pinky.
